On September 11, 1954 — New York first baseman Whitey Lockman pinch-hits a grand slam off Cincinnati right-hander Howie Judson. The seventh-inning four-run round-tripper propels the first-place Giants to an eventual 7-5 victory over the Reds at the Polo Grounds.
