Pittsburgh Pirates’ third baseman Pie Traynor is in Cooperstown to be inducted into the Hall of Fame

On July 12, 1948, former Pittsburgh Pirates’ third baseman Pie Traynor is in Cooperstown to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Former pitcher Herb Pennock is also inducted in ceremonies at the Museum.
