Preparing their move to the American League in 2013, the Houston Astros go back to the future, unveiling a new uniform design and a logo based on the team colors in the late 1960s and early 1970s. They also bring back Orbit, their long-time spaceman mascot who had been discarded in favor of a jackrabbit character who never won much love from fans.

On November 2, 2012 — Preparing their move to the American League in 2013, the Houston Astros go back to the future, unveiling a new uniform design and a logo based on the team colors in early 60’s, orange and navy blue, the color scheme used by the club from 1962-93,

They also bring back Orbit after a 12 year retirment their long-time spaceman mascot who had been discarded in favor of a jackrabbit character who never won much love from fans.
