On October 4, 1992 — Rangers slugger Juan Gonzalez, at the age of 22 years, 11 months, and 19 days old, becomes the youngest home run champion in baseball history. ‘Juan Gone,’ who went deep 43 times during the season, is 46 days younger than Joe DiMaggio, who won the crown playing with the Yankees in 1937.
