Ray Moore was a righthanded fastballer who walked almost as many as he fanned. Offensively, he hit six home runs despite a .187 batting average. In December 1957 he was traded with Billy Goodman and Tito Francona to the White Sox for lefthander Jack Harshman and Larry Doby.
