June 25, 1957 Rookie Roger Maris awaits his first career game at Yankee Stadium in 1957. No HRs, but went 1-4 with 2R double as the Cleveland Indians beat the New York YankeesĀ 11-2. His 1st HR at the Stadium wasnā€™t until june 1958 his only Bronx HR w/Tribe), but then heā€™d hit 97 more most as a member of the Yankees.
