On December 7, 1973, the San Francisco Giants sell future Hall of Fame pitcher Juan Marichal to the Boston Red Sox. The “Dominican Dandy,” who went 11-15 for San Francisco, will struggle in Boston, making only 11 appearances for the Red Sox in 1974.
