After St. Louis’ Joe Medwick gets ejected by Commissioner Kenesaw Landis (for his own safety); after a near fight with Marv Owen, he was pelted with fruit and bottles when he tried to take the field; after a second try and a 20-minute delay, Landis
ruled Medwick removed.
