Luke Easter was a star whose Major League career started later than it should have. He was a 36 year old rookie whose best years were in the Negro Leagues. Joining the Indians full time in 1950, he was a star, slugging first basemen hitting 85 homers from 1950 to 1952 with over 100 RBI in '50 and '51.
