On September 3, 1954 — At Connie Mack Stadium Ted Williams of the Red Sox hits his 362nd home run to put him in 5th place on the all-time list. It is his 25th of the season and it came off Arnie Portocarrero in the 3rd inning.  The Red Sox win the game 11-1.
