On June 13, 1957 — The Indians, in an effort to get more power from their outfield, send Jim Busby to the Orioles in exchange for 28 year-old Dick Williams, who will play only 67 games with the Tribe before being dealt back to Baltimore. As a result of the trade, Roger Maris will move from left to become Cleveland’s full-time center fielder.
