On October 1, 1982, In his last game, A’s shortstop Fred Stanley goes 1-for-3 in a 12-7 loss to the Royals at Kauffman Stadium. With ‘Chicken’ retiring there are now no active players left in the majors who once played with the Seattle Pilots.
