On July 28, 2000 â The Mets have a busy day on the trading block as they obtain Oriole shortstop Mike Bordick for utility players Melvin Mora and Mike Kinkade and minor pitchers Lesli Brea and Pat Gorman. A few hours later, New York completes a four-player deal with the Devil Rays, receiving reliever Rick White and outfielder Bubba Trammell in exchange for minor leaguers Jason Tyner and Paul Wilson.
