On September 6, 2002 — The Oakland Athletics’ 20-game winning streak is snapped as Brad Radke throws a six-hitter, blank the team at the Metrodome, 6-0.

The A’s fell one game short of equalling the second-longest modern winning streak in baseball history, established by the Cubs, who won 21 straight contests in 1935.
