On December 6, 1958 — The Washington Senators give walking papers to 3B Eddie Yost‚ sending him to Detroit Tigers along with Rocky Bridges and OF Neil Chrisley. The Nats receive infielders Reno Bertoia and Ron Samford and OF Jim Delsing in exchange.
