Three future Hall of Famers make their major league debuts on April 17 – Don Drysdale, Frank Robinson and Luis Aparicio

On April 17, 1956, three future Hall of Famers make their major league debuts. Luis Aparicio of the Chicago White Sox, Don Drysdale of the Brooklyn Dodgers and Frank Robinson of the Cincinnati Reds play the first games of their brilliant careers.

The 19 year old Drysdale pitches 1 inning of scoreless relief vs Philadelphia.

Robinson goes 2-3 vs St Louis, the 20-year-old will capture the Rookie of the Year and finish 7th in MVP Voting.

Aparicio goes 1-3 vs the Cleveland Indians, he was the oldest of the three at 21.
