Todd Benzinger Born on  February 11, 1963 in Dayton, Kentucky, just across the river from Cincinnati.

He played nine years in the Majors, two and a half of those in Cincinnati, including the 1990 Wire to Wire World Series Championship team.

Primarily a first-baseman, Todd did see some action in the Outfield while in Cincinnati. In 1989 he led the National League in at-bats with 628, gathering 154 hits including 17 Home Runs. He played for five different Organizations in his big league career.

Todd also saw Post-Season action with the Red Sox in 1988.

On July 11, 1991 he was traded by the Reds to the Kansas City Royals for Carmelo Martinez.

After his playing days, he Managed the Dayton Dragons for the 2009 and 2010 seasons
