On May 4, 1989 — At Exhibition Stadium, leading off the bottom of the 3rd Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Junior Felix becomes the 53rd player in major league history to hit a home run in his first at off Kirk McCaskill as Toronto loses, 3 – 2, to the California Angels in 10 innings.

Danta Bichette will foil the Jays with run-scoring singles in the 8th and 10th.
