On June 28, 1947 Walker Cooper of the Giants hits a home run in his sixth consecutive game to tie a record set by George Kelly in 1924. Cooper had two homers in the first game of the streak, and his shot today helps his brother Mort Cooper win, 14 – 6, over the Phils. No player will homer in his brother’s win until Jordan Danks does so to help John Danks 66 years later.
