On April 19, 1920 — Washington Senators pitcher Al Schacht, who will later become the “Clown Prince of Baseball,” throws a 7 – 0 shutout against the Philadelphia Athletics. 7–0. A sore arm will end his career after the next season, but the Schacht act will be on hand for 25 World Series and 18 All-Star games.
