Known as 3-Dog, reaches the plateau in front of the home crowd with a two-run home run off future hall of Famer, Phil Niekro in the team’s 3-0 victory over Atlanta. His shot chases Niekro from the game.

Davis will end up with 2,091 hits and he ranks #3 all-time in franchise history and #1 all-time since they moved to LA. No active player is close. He will go on to collect 2,591 hits over his 18-year career and play in 4 World Series, winning 2 with the Dodgers.
