On June 25, 2006 â With his White Sox trailing 9-2, second baseman Tadahito Iguchi hits a three-run bomb in the eighth and then delivers a game-tying grand slam in the ninth during an eventual 13 inning loss to the Astros at U.S. Cellular Field. Teammates Scott Podsednik (6/23) and Joe Crede (6/24) had also hit home runs with the bases full in the two previous games of the series, making it the first time in team history a grand slam was hit in three consecutive games.
