7/1/1926Ā ā In the bottom of the first inning at Braves Field, Doc Gautreau was on second with two out. Eddie Brown walked but the Phillies pointed out that he had batted out of turn. Thus, Dick Burrus, who was the correct batter, was declared out and the Braves stranded Gautreau at second. The Braves eventually won the contest by scoring three runs in the seventh frame.
