It is later concluded to be the first Organized Baseball game in which such a feat has occurred. The balls are flying out that day as Memphis’s Shane Monahan sets the Southern League record with his fourth grand slam of the season.

The ball was touched by a fan but called in play by first base umpire Ted Barrett. All replays showed that the ball was clearly over the wall and touched by a fan in the seats. O’Leary legged out a triple on the play.
