The Cubs will beat the Reds 7-3 Johnny Evers scores 2 and drives in 2, Chick Fraser is not only the winning pitcher but chips in with 2 hits and RBI and Johnny Kling had 2 hits and 2 runs scored. Hans Lobert of Glory of their times fame, banged out 2 hits for the Reds and scored 2 of the three runs. 

The Cubs also turned a double play by, Joe Tinker-Evers and Frank Chance.

In 1908, the Cubs would go on to win the second World Series championship.
