On ,September 10 1950 — 9/10/1950: The Phillies’ Jackie Mayo homered in the bottom of the sixth inning before the game was called due to rain. Since the sixth inning had not been completed, the score (and stats) reverted back to the previous full inning because the lost homer left the Phillies still trailing, by a score of 3-2.
