Al Simmons makes an unassisted double play against the St. Louis Browns

On April 20 , 1933 –  Chicago White Sox outfielder Al Simmons makes an unassisted double play against the St. Louis Browns. With score tied, 4-4 in the top of the ninth, Browns catcher Rick Ferrell lineouts out to Al Simmions who then tags the baserunner Ski Melillo for a rare unassisted Double play for an outfielder.

The White Sox would score in the bottom of the 9th to win the game 5-4.
