On July 17, 1912 — At the Ostermalm Athletics Grounds, Sweden’s Vesteras Baseball Club plays an exhibition game at the Summer Olympics against an American team. The squad from the United States, who unsurprisingly wins the contest 13-3, consists of athletes who are in Stockholm competing for gold medals in other sports.
