On December 1, 1964 — Cleveland Indians obtain OF Chuck Hinton from the Washington Senators for 1B Bob Chance and IF Woodie Held.

Hinton, although he will spend 6 of his next 7 seasons in Cleveland will never show the promise he did hitting 310 in his second season in the big leagues.

Held will spend 1 year in Washington hitting .247 and Chance will be out of baseball in 3 seasons without making an impact.
