Cobb hits first Grandslam, but Tigers lose when Red Sox comeback from 9 down to win
On May 13, 1911 — The Red Sox come back to beat the Tigers 13-11, overcoming a nine-run deficit in the Bennett Park contest. The Red Sox score 7 runs in the 9th to take the lead 11-10. The Tigers will tie the game in the bottom of the 9th but ultimately lose 13-11 in 10 innings.
