On August 23, 1998 — San Francisco Giants OF Barry Bonds hits his 26th homer, the 400th of his career, off Kirt Ojala of the Florida Marlins in the Giants’ 10 – 5 victory. He thus becomes the first player in major league history with more than 400 career home runs and 400 stole bases.
