Harmon Killebrew released by twins

Harmon Killebrew Royals

January 16, 1975 – The Twins release future hall of famer,  38-year-old slugger Harmon Killebrew. He was promptly signed by the Royals.

He hit his 573rd and final major league home run at Met Stadium off Eddie Bane on September 18, 1975.
