On August 19, 1965, Jim Maloney of the Cincinnati Reds pitches a 10-inning no-hitter against the Chicago Cubs. Maloney wins the game, 1-0, on a home run by shortstop Leo “Chico” Cardenas. Earlier in the season, Maloney pitched no-hit ball for 10 innings before losing to the New York Mets, 1-0, in the 11th inning.
