On June 22, 1982, Rod Carew’s 25-game hitting streak is halted by lefty Rick Honeycutt. Carew hit .415 and raised his average 68 points during his streak. The streak was the longest of Carew’s career and the longest in Angels history. Carew is elected to the Hall of Fame in 1991.

Carew went 0-4, grounding out twice, and flew out twice.
