In Colorado for six seasons, Jennings had amassed a 58-56 record and was the 2002 N.L. Rookie of the Year.

Earl had also called games of the Green Bay Packers, the Marquette football Warriors, Wisconsin Badger football, and the Milwaukee Hawks basketball.
