They beat the host ASD Rimini, 5-4, in 10 innings in the finale. Kenny Berkenbosch (.273/.500/.545) doubles in the last run and wins Cup MVP honors, while Kevin Heijstek turns in a strong start and Tom de Blok fans 2 of the last three batters to preserve the win. Jesse Aussems gets 3 hits in the finale, as does Rimini’s Ennio Retrosi (who fans to end the game). Roberto Corradini takes the loss.
