Tim Raines & Andre Dawson run wild on Braves

August 29, 1981 At Olympic Stadium Andre Dawson and Tim Raines  combine to steal 5 bases and Rodney Scott adds one more as the Expos beat the Braves 4-3.

The winning run was scored in the bottom on the 7th, Raines singles, stole second, Scott sacrificed him to third (kind of he grounded to second). Raines scores on an error his speed forced when Dawson hits one sharply to second. Raines runs his season total to 58, he will end up with 71 in 88 games, and swipe over 800 bags over his hall of fame career. Dawson will become part of a rare group with 400+ homeruns and 300+ stolebases.

Jeff Reardon picks up the win for the Expos who improve to 41-31.
