On May 24, 1967, Tommy McCraw of the Chicago White Sox launches three home runs and drives in eight runs in a 14-1 win over the Minnesota Twins. The Chicago first baseman’s offensive output includes a pair of three-run homers and a two-run round-tripper. McCraw, not known for his power, will finish the season with only 11 home runs – a career high.
