On August 30, 1974, Dave Nelson of the Texas Rangers steals second, third base, and home plate in the same inning, only the third such performance in the major leagues since 1928. Despite Nelson’s parade of stolen bases, the Rangers lose their game to the Cleveland Indians, 7-3.
