On June 27, 1938, future Hall of Fame slugger Jimmie Foxx belts the 400th homer of his career, off Bob Feller in the 5th inning in a 7-3 loss vs Cleveland. He joined an exclusive list that at that time included only Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig.
