On April 27, 1996, Barry Bonds of the San Francisco Giants becomes only the fourth player to hit 300 home runs and steal 300 bases. With two home runs against the Florida Marlins, Bonds joins Willie Mays, Andre Dawson, and his father, Bobby Bonds, in the exclusive club.

Aaron number retired by second team

On April 15, 1977, Hank Aaron becomes the first player to have his uniform number retired by two teams. The Atlanta Braves retire his No. 44 during a pre-game ceremony. The Milwaukee Brewers had previously retired Aaron’s number.
