Ray Knight becomes 11th player in NL Histroy to hit two home runs in one inning

On May 13, 1980 — At Riverfront Stadium, Ray Knight of the Cincinnati Reds hits two home runs in the 5th inning – including a grand slam – to lead the Reds to a 15 – 4 rout of the New York Mets. Knight was in an 0-15 slump before the 5th inning.

Only 11 National Leaguers did it before. . .Willie McCovey did it twice (San Francisco, 1973-77) . Nine did it since 1900 Lewis P. Wilson (New York, 1925) , Henry Leiber (New York, 1935), Andy Seminick (Philadelphia, 1949), McCovey, John Boca-bella (Montreal, 1973), Lee May (Houston, 1974) and Andre Dawson (Montreal, 1978).
