The left-hander, who is stationed at Indiana’s Camp Atterbury, will be granted a leave to watch his team in the World Series, but Philadelphia decides not to request he be made eligible to participate in the Fall Classic.

Knuckleballer Dutch Leonard, in his only start of the year, is today’s winner. The Phils then take the nitecap, 9 – 5, to move 5 1/2 games ahead of the Dodgers.
